ICE OUT NOW!

From Minneapolis to Springfield and beyond, Ohio Women’s Alliance and Abortion Fund of Ohio call for the abolition of ICE and an end to the terror that the Trump administration is perpetrating on immigrant communities and protestors across the nation. As organizations rooted in Reproductive Justice values, keeping our communities safe and healthy is our greatest priority. The rising fascism of this administration is chipping away at our safety at every turn as our people and our democracy continue disappearing before our eyes. Enough.

OWA and AFO stand in resistance to state-sanctioned violence against communities of color, and we call on white allies to do the same. ICE, like every US system, stems from occupation and colonialism, a cruel hypocrisy where violent control is the point. Our country was “discovered” and founded on the principles of white supremacy; it was built on the backs of enslaved people and immigrants, and it is crumbling before our eyes because of white people who have stayed complicit in the status quo of racism for far too long. Enough.

While two white protestors have received the greatest attention when it comes to ICE-related deaths, there are seven additional people of color who have been murdered by ICE in the first month of 2026 alone, and over 50 people have died in ICE custody.  Even in the reporting of ICE terror, white supremacy reigns, and Black and Brown erasure persists. Enough.

We are here to say enough.
Enough family separation.
Enough state terror, violence, and murder.
Enough Black and Brown erasure.

We are here to call for abolition.
Abolish state-sanctioned murder.
Abolish all law enforcement rooted in white supremacy.
Abolish ICE now.

We are here to demand Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s vision of the Beloved Community.
We demand justice, peace, and true community safety.
We demand a country that takes care of our people.
We demand true Reproductive Justice for all, and OWA and AFO will never stop fighting until Ohioans and all people of color across the nation can live free from fear and violence.
